Joyce Farms' Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

Joyce Farms is closely monitoring the progression and spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Heightened sanitation protocols are in place to include farm, processing plant, and office areas. The health and well-being of our employees is our principal concern, and we recognize that our work force is critical to providing the quality and consistency of products that you have come to expect from Joyce Farms.

Intensive precautions regarding COVID-19 also include:

  • Employee health monitoring, including screening and testing where applicable
  • No over-the-road drivers are permitted within the facility
  • A no visitor policy is currently in place for the office and plant facilities
  • Company drivers are exercising heightened caution while on delivery routes, and are not entering facilities
  • Mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for any employee that has visited a known hot spot for virus activity

In order to protect our employees, employees’ families, and the integrity of our business, we enacted a temporary freeze on all corporate travel, including sales travel in March of 2020. As of June 14, 2020, we have resumed limited travel to certain states, as they move into Phase 2 and Phase 3 plans. We are not holding any farm tours during this time.

Joyce Farms has confirmed that the chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing in both the plant and office facilities are effective in rendering the virus inactive. During production shifts, our use of Ozone (O3) Water is proven to be superb at killing both viruses and bacteria, and has the added benefit of being a chemical-free solution for product and product-contact surfaces.

Thank you for your support and understanding through these trying times. Joyce Farms will continue to operate at full capacity with these heightened protocols in place.
