Essential shipping info and what to expect after placing your meat and poultry order from our web store.
Please allow 1-2 business days for processing and packing of your order. We ship orders Monday - Wednesday for 1 or 2 day transit (and Thursdays for orders shipping within North Carolina), due to the perishable nature of our products. You will receive an order confirmation shortly after you place an order, and you will receive a second email with a tracking number for your order once it ships.
Shipping and delivery timing are estimates only.
At this time, we only deliver to the contiguous 48 United States and do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska. We cannot ship any products (including non-perishables like books and merchandise) to Canada, Puerto Rico or to the US Virgin Islands. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes or P.M.B., A.P.O., or F.P.O. addresses.
Please allow an extra 1-2 business days for processing during the months of October, November, December, and January, when our order volume increases significantly.
Either our facility, or the facilities of our shipping partners will be closed on the following observed 2024-2025 holidays. Please also allow an extra 1-2 business days for processing when ordering within a week of these dates:
You may request delayed shipping by making a notation on your order from the Shopping Cart page, before you continue to checkout. This option is not available for certain seasonal products or on orders placed between September 1st - December 31st.
Our web store shipping costs are calculated rates based on the actual cost of shipping to your address.
We do offer local pickup at our location - 4787 Kinnamon Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Learn more on our local pickup page.
We will hold your order for 2 days after your originally scheduled pick up date. If you have not picked up, we will cancel your order.
In order for us to ship your product safely, we must follow important safety guidelines. Each order will be packed in a reusable styrofoam cooler with dry ice and/or reusable gel packs.
Dry ice may be completely evaporated upon delivery. Products may begin to defrost during shipment. As long as the products are still partially frozen, you can refreeze them safely in your freezer.
Once you receive your package, please refer to safe handling instructions included with your shipment.
Every fulfillment step of your order is carefully completed by hand to ensure your order will arrive at your doorstep just the way you ordered it. However, in the unusual event you are not 100% satisfied with your web order, we ask that you email us immediately and provide the following information:
Joyce Farms strives to maintain our website with the most up to date and accurate information as possible. However, in some instances, the product you order may be out of stock. In this rare situation, you will be notified immediately and will have the following options:
Our goal is to process and ship your order as quickly as possible, but unfortunately, this makes canceling or changing an order difficult. If for any reason you need to cancel or make changes to your order, please email info@joyce-farms.com immediately, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, given the perishable nature of our products and our goal to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, we are unable to guarantee a refund for any orders canceled or changed after they are placed. Refused or returned orders will not be refunded unless we specifically requested you to refuse or return your order.
