We’re honored to announce that Joyce Farms has once again earned an AA rating on our most recent BRC Food Safety Audit, maintaining our place among the top-performing food producers in the world.
This recognition follows last year’s AA audit score—and it reaffirms our commitment to ensuring the highest level of food safety and product integrity, without ever compromising on flavor.
For those unfamiliar, the BRC Global Food Safety Standard is one of the most stringent food safety programs worldwide. Earning an AA rating means meeting those standards at every level—facility, process, people, and product. It’s a reflection of excellence in execution, day in and day out.
At Joyce Farms, food safety isn't just a box to check—it’s woven into our culture. Jennifer Hamby, our Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance, leads that charge every day:
“This kind of result doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the outcome of a lot of hard work from people who truly care—from processing to QA to shipping. I’m incredibly proud of our team. We all take food safety personally, because we know what’s at stake every time someone chooses Joyce Farms.”
— Jennifer Hamby, Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance
Maintaining such high standards takes real coordination—from sourcing to processing to final packaging. As Stuart Joyce explains, it’s pride in the process that drives the results:
“Maintaining this level of excellence takes real coordination—from sourcing to processing to final pack-out. It’s not easy, but our team shows up every day with pride in what we do and a clear focus on doing it right. That’s what this AA rating represents.”
— Stuart Joyce, Executive Vice President & COO
At Joyce Farms, earning trust is about more than a single audit—it's about doing the right thing every day, year after year. Ryan Joyce shared his perspective on what this AA rating truly represents:
“For us, food safety is part of the bigger picture. It’s about earning trust—plate after plate, year after year. This AA rating is great recognition, but the real win is knowing our customers can count on us to do things the right way, every time.”
— Ryan Joyce, President & CEO
Behind every certification is a team that takes pride in doing things right—even when no one is watching. Eric Ivey, our Vice President of Operations, captured it perfectly:
“You don’t earn an AA rating without systems, teamwork, and accountability at every level. Our team takes pride in doing the job right—even when no one’s watching. That’s what makes this recognition so meaningful.”
— Eric Ivey, Vice President of Operations
Every person at Joyce Farms plays a role in results like this. From animal care to QA, it’s the daily follow-through of our people that ensures chefs and home get products they can count on.
