How to Cook the Perfect Roast Chicken - Joyce Farms Heritage Poulet Rouge®

Dinner in under an hour! Use this 3 ingredient recipe to cook the perfect heritage roasted chicken quickly and easily at home using our 3.5 - 4 lb Poulet Rouge® Heritage Chicken. Ingredients:

• Salt/Pepper
• Olive Oil (we recommend Batistini Farms!)
• 1 whole 3.5 - 4 lb Joyce Farms Poulet Rouge® Heritage Chicken

Cooking Method:

• Remove bird from package and remove giblet pack from bird cavity (reserve for another recipe)
• Rub bird with olive oil
• Add Salt
• Roast in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes (make sure internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Let bird rest for 10-15 minutes
• Add black pepper, carve and enjoy!
